Інформаційно-комунікаційна компетентність майбутнього вчителя історії та правознавства: теоретичний аспект

Abstract

У статті подаються погляди зарубіжних та вітчизняних учених та окремі офіційні документи, де визначено ряд освітніх понять, зокрема: «компетентність», «професійна компетентність вчителя», «інформаційно-комунікаційна компетентність»; запропоновано власне бачення інформаційно-комунікаційної компетентності вчителя історії та правознавства; окреслені важливість та можливості формування інформаційно-комунікаційної компетентності майбутнього вчителя історії та правознавства засобами інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій. The article examines the information and communication competence of the teacher. The teacher, as a key figure in the educational process, is the organizer of obtaining, assimilating, understanding knowledge, forming skills and abilities, that is, the process of forming competencies. Noted that it is necessary to allocate the information and communication competence (ICC) as an independent component in the professional competence of modern educator, which, moreover, is like an integral part of other elements of the professional competence. Teachers should be able to orientate in the information space, receive information and operate it in accordance with own needs and requirements of the modern information society. The choosing of the information and communication competence, as a separate component of the teacher's professional competence, is due to the active using of the information and communication technologies (ICT) in all spheres of human activity, including in education. The teacher of history and law is intended to promote the pupil`s development as a personality who is guided by humanistic norms and values, recognize himself as a citizen of Ukraine, is able to successfully realize in the modern Ukrainian society, successfully using information and communication technologies. The article defines the information and communication competence of the future teacher of history and law as the most important modern component, which is consist in the ability of the teacher to solve professional tasks using ICT tools and methods: to process, transfer and preserve the information resource; have the knowledge and skills to use specialized computer programs for visualization (maps, photos, video, etc.); to evaluate and realize the educational Internet resources; to organize educational interaction between pupils and teachers; to create and use test tasks to determine educational achievements; to carry out educational activity on history and law using ICT. It is important and actual to create electronic educational tutorials and textbooks for pupils, methodical materials for teachers and training computer programs for students. The process of formation of the information and communication competence of the teacher of history and law lasts throughout the period of professional activity. The basic knowledge, skills and abilities that the teacher received in high school need to be constantly updated, improved and possibly re-formed, especially in the information sphere.
